The Turkish Airlines Euroleague reached a historic milestone last Friday with the 500,000th point scored in the competition since its inception at the beginning of this century. The half-million mark was surpassed on an open three-point shot that Caleb Green of Unicaja Malaga swished with 8:16 left in the second quarter of his team’s road game against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. His shot came nearly 14 years and five months after the legendary Dino Radja scored the first basket of the competition for Olympiacos Piraeus vs. Real Madrid on October 16, 2000. Check out the milestone shot!
How competitive are Euroleague players? Nate Linhart and big man Jake Cohen of reigning champs Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv take over the lobby of their hotel to take each other's measure in M-V-P, their own brand of the classic H-O-R-S-E shooting game on a wall-mounted mini-basket. Who will be the MVP this time? Watch and find out!
In Round 8 of the #NoJumpNoGlory Dunk Contest, master slammers Sofoklis Schortsanitis of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv and Bryant Dunston of Olympiacos Piraeus rock the rim for your vote! The more you vote for one of their two monster dunks, the closer you will be to the grand prize of tickets to the 2015 Turkish Airlines Euroleague Final Four!
